Carolyn Lasar


Carolyn’s passion for dance and the Performing Arts began at the age of 9. Since then she has performed in countless productions and taught with numerous dance studios, both in the Tweed Heads area and on the Gold Coast. Carolyn won her first dance award for Ballet when she was just 12 years old. Since then she has continued to develop and expand her knowledge of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre, buy continuing her studies in Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Carolyn has taught students who have won scholarships, progressed to professional dance productions and started their own successful dance studios.

Fully Qualified with National Accreditations including Progressing Ballet Technique and 30 years experience in the Dance Industry and Teaching , Carolyn has opened Dancetasia to share and pass on her love and passion for the Performing Arts to the next generation of dancers and performers.

Acrobatics Teacher

Kiana Ottery

Kiana Ottery brings her love and extensive knowledge of the wonderful Art Form of Acrobatics to Dancetasia and has taught Acrobatics and Circus Skills since she was 15 years old. Kiana has performance experience with Contortion and Acrobatics and has performed in many Acrobatic productions. Kiana brings her amazing skills and unique creativity to teach and inspire the next generation of Acrobatic performers.

Dancetasia is a dance studio in the Tweed Valley offering Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Character, Lyrical /Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Acrobatics classes for all ages. Created to share the beauty of dance, our studio is run by a fully qualified teacher. Beginners to advanced dancers are all welcome.
